Osmond Memorial Park Baseball Field

Just north of Highway 20 on the eastern edge of the small Northeast Nebraska town of Osmond is Osmond Memorial Park. Inside this park sits the community baseball diamond, home to amateur baseball action.

Spacious, concrete bench-style seating underneath a wooden roofed grandstand is a notable feature. Set into the surrounding landscape, the grandstand seats provide shade and relief from the summer heat and an excellent view of the on-field action. Beyond the chain-link boundaries of the outfield is expansive farmland intersected by the North Fork of the Elkhorn River.

The ballyard features an all dirt in-field, a fertile grass outfield, and above-ground dugouts. The restroom and concession facilities sit behind the third baseline. The ballgame announcers call games in a perch behind the first baseline.
